Jennifer Aniston: My Wedding Was a "Beautiful, Private Moment"

February 2024 · 1 minute read

Jen’s not spilling! Earlier this month, Us Weekly broke the news that Jennifer Aniston had officially tied the knot with her longtime fiancé, Justin Theroux, in an intimate backyard ceremony. So when the Friends star, 46, started doing press for her new film She’s Funny That Way, reporters naturally tried to get her to spill on the big day.

But Aniston remained relatively tight-lipped about her headline-making nuptials to actor Theroux, 44.

“I’m not telling you about any of that stuff!” she declared to Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, Aug. 19. “We had the beautiful luxury of having a beautiful, private moment. And I’m going to be selfish and keep it that way.”

She played similarly coy during a segment on Good Morning America. When asked how she managed to keep the ceremony private, she replied, “Where there is a will, there is a way.”

As previously reported the Aug. 5 ceremony was officiated by late-night host and family friend Jimmy Kimmel. Shock jock Howard Stern gave a speech, and Aniston’s Friends costars Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox attended, though Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc recently revealed that they weren’t invited.
